Then GenAI reports arrived, and now every quarter demands an 89-page “Comprehensive Performance Analysis” with appendices, methodology, footnotes, and charts that even finance won’t open. They paste a spreadsheet into a model, ask for a “formal business report,” and out comes a Frankenstein PDF stuffed with “in today’s rapidly evolving landscape” and “synergistic value creation.” The executive summary alone is longer than your entire attention span. The methodology section bravely explains how they… looked at some numbers. Twice. No one reads past page three, but that doesn’t stop them from slapping the company logo on every slide like it’s a sponsorship deal. The Compiler isn’t clarifying anything; they’re hiding mediocrity behind page count. If the key insight is “meh, we did fine,” nobody needs chapters for that.

Come on... Long GenAI email essays aren’t impressing anyone (anymore...). They’re just a new way to burn out people and clog up inboxes. If your “update” needs a table of contents, something’s gone wrong.

Get this in your head:

❌ Nobody really reads your long emails or 89-page reports.

❌ Are you even working, or just hammering the “generate” button?

❌ You overwhelm everyone. After page one, people “save for later” and never come back.

❌ That key thing your boss is actually interested in? Probably buried somewhere on page 52.
